Title: Emergency Heritage Response Train-the-Trainers

Date: November 2 & 3, 2023

Time: 1 – 4 pm (Nov. 2) and 10 am – 4 pm (Nov. 3)

Fee: $20

Georgia Heritage Responders are looking for a few good people interested in training to become trainers for Heritage Emergency Response workshops. This training is open to people who have already undergone at least one training/workshop from SHER, HERA, FEMA, GHR, or other Heritage Emergency Groups. 

The training will consist of a half-day on November 2 from 1 pm to 4 pm and a full day on November 3 from 10 am to 4 pm, at the Georgia Archives in Morrow, Georgia. Part of the duties of this training will be assisting with the setup of the training materials for the group of attendees. Lunch is not provided on November 2. The cost of this is $20, and there are a limited number of spots available.

We encourage you to wear comfortable, casual clothing and closed-toe shoes both days. We will be dealing with water-logged and soiled materials while standing and moving around for most of the afternoon.

Interested individuals are encouraged, but not required, to complete the free online Incident Command Structure Course through FEMA before the training if they have not done so previously.
