On Saturday, November 5, following our business meeting, historian Michael Gagnon of Georgia Gwinnett College will deliver the keynote address at the annual meeting of the Friends of the Georgia Archives and History (FOGAH), which starts at 10 AM, at the Georgia Archives in Morrow, Georgia. it will also be available to participants through a ZOOM link. Gagnon will discuss how others may emulate constructing a scholarly history of their own county using his recently published book Gwinnett County Georgia and the Transformation of the American South 1818-2018 as a model. Dr. Gagnon will be available afterwards to sign copies of his book, which may be purchased in advance from the publisher, UGA Press, or your favorite online book store.
